Microsoft has revealed the first batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in August. The lineup includes *Creatures of Ava*, *Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy*, and *Mafia: Definitive Edition*. *Creatures of Ava*, an action-adventure game, will be a day-one launch on August 7, followed by *Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy* on August 8. Microsoft also confirmed that *Mafia: Definitive Edition* will be available on Game Pass starting August 13.

*Creatures of Ava*, developed by Inverge Studios, lets players take on the role of Vic, an explorer on a mission to the planet Ava. The game features four distinct biomes, each with unique flora and fauna. Players can tame over 20 wild creatures, uncover Ava’s secrets, and work to save the planet from an infection. The game will be available on Game Pass when it launches on August 7 for PC and Xbox consoles.

As anticipated by a reliable tipster last month, *Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy* will join Game Pass on August 8. The trilogy includes remastered versions of the first three *Crash Bandicoot* games: *Crash Bandicoot*, *Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back*, and *Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped*.

*Mafia: Definitive Edition* will arrive on August 13. This remake of the 2002 classic from Hangar 13 has been rebuilt with new assets, an expanded storyline, new vehicles, an updated score, and more.

Additionally, Microsoft announced that several games will leave Game Pass on August 15, including *Airborne Kingdoms*, *Offworld Trading Company*, *Shadow Warrior 3*, and *The Texas Chain Saw Massacre*.

In July, *Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3* became the first COD title to join Game Pass, available to play on Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate at no extra cost.
