*Final Fantasy XVI* is finally making its way to PC, more than a year after its exclusive launch on PS5. The latest entry in the *Final Fantasy* series will be available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store starting September 17, as announced by Square Enix. A free demo of the action-RPG is already available on both platforms, and pre-orders are now open.

Square Enix confirmed that *Final Fantasy XVI* will be offered in two editions for PC: the Standard Edition, which includes the base game, and the Complete Edition, which bundles the base game with two DLC expansions, “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide,” at a discounted price. Players can also purchase the expansions separately at launch or opt for the Expansion Pass, which includes both.

Pre-ordering the game will grant players exclusive in-game items. The Standard Edition is priced at Rs. 3,499, while the Complete Edition is available for Rs. 4,799.

The free demo features the opening prologue, focusing on the protagonist Clive’s adolescence, similar to the demo available on PS5. Save data from the demo will carry over to the full game when it launches. In addition to the main storyline, the demo offers an “Eikonic Challenge” mode, where players can participate in Eikon battles with expanded access to Eikonic Abilities. The demo provides over two hours of gameplay.

Initially launched as a PS5 exclusive on June 22, 2023, *Final Fantasy XVI* tells a new, standalone story in the *Final Fantasy* universe. It follows Clive’s journey in the world of Valisthea, where various kingdoms are fighting for control over powerful Mothercrystals.

The two expansions, “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide,” add new storylines, boss battles, side quests, weapons, accessories, and an increased level cap to the game. *Final Fantasy XVI* will be available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 17.
