The highly anticipated strategy game will be available on PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and Nintendo Switch. It will also support cross-play and cross-progression across platforms. Pre-orders are now open, with three editions available: Standard, Deluxe, and a limited-time Founders edition.

The game also boasts a fresh art style and a diverse range of leaders from different fields, including military, politics, science, and philosophy.
The game will feature improved systems and a revamped tutorial to make it more accessible for newcomers. It will also include online multiplayer, allowing players to compete against each other, with cross-play supported between PC and consoles.
Civilization VII will be available in Standard, Deluxe, and Founders editions across all platforms. Players who pre-order the Deluxe or Founders editions will get early access starting February 6. In addition to Windows, the game will also be available for Mac and Linux via Steam.
