*Indiana Jones and the Great Circle* is now available for pre-order on Xbox and PC. This highly anticipated action-adventure game, developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda, is officially launching on PlayStation 5 as well. The release date was confirmed during the Gamescom opening night showcase, where it was announced that the game will first be available on Xbox Series S/X, PC, and Game Pass on December 9, 2024. PlayStation 5 players will have to wait until Spring 2025 to get their hands on the game.
At Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event, a new trailer was revealed, showcasing gameplay, puzzles, and the iconic whip combat. The trailer also confirmed that *Indiana Jones and the Great Circle* would be arriving on PS5 in Spring 2025, following a period of timed exclusivity on Xbox consoles.
As a Microsoft first-party title, many assumed the game would remain exclusive to Xbox and PC. However, it was hinted earlier this year that a PS5 release was being considered. Though Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer initially stated that the game wasn’t part of the exclusive lineup planned for Sony and Nintendo platforms, the PS5 launch has now been officially confirmed.
In addition to confirming the release dates for Xbox and PC, Bethesda also provided details about the game’s pre-orders. Players can choose between Standard, Premium, and Collector’s editions, all of which are now available for pre-order on Xbox and Steam. Those who pre-order the Premium or Collector’s editions will gain up to three days of early access to the game. The title is also available to wishlist on the PlayStation Store.
