Acer has launched the Nitro V 16 in India, its first AI-focused gaming laptop. This device is powered by AMD’s Ryzen R7 8845HS series processors, paired with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. The Nitro V 16 features a 16-inch LCD display with a 165Hz refresh rate and comes equipped with a dual-fan cooling system. It also supports AI-based applications, including Microsoft’s Copilot chatbot integrated with Windows 11, as well as Acer’s proprietary software features.
Priced at Rs. 1,09,990, the Acer Nitro V 16 is available in an Obsidian Black color and can be purchased through Flipkart and Acer’s exclusive stores in India. Additionally, customers can get up to Rs. 1,500 off when using eligible debit and credit cards from HDFC Bank, OneCard, HSBC, and IDFC First Bank.
The Nitro V 16 comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Home and features a 16-inch WQXGA (1920×1200 pixels) IPS LCD screen with 100% sRGB color gamut coverage. The laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with 8GB of GDDR6 video memory. Acer claims the laptop can perform 233 tera operations per second (TOPS) for AI tasks. It’s also certified as Copilot+ and supports Acer’s Purified Voice 2.0 AI-powered noise reduction.
The Nitro V 16 includes 1TB of SSD storage and offers connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB 4 port, and an HDMI port.
The laptop comes with a 59Wh battery, supports 135W fast charging, and provides up to 7 hours of battery life. It measures 362.3 x 239.89 x 23.5mm and weighs 2.5kg.
