We originally started this brand with a focus on students, but by the end of 2019, our community had grown beyond that initial target. To reflect this evolution, we decided to rebrand, changing “student” in Paperless Student to “X” to better encompass everyone in our community.
Paperless X now represents all the Paperless Humans out there—Paperless Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, Teachers, and more.
In 2020, we’re excited to launch a new series called “Being Paperless.” We’ve already completed the branding for this project, thanks to the amazing work of Jonathan Machado and his team. At Paperless X, we believe there are endless ways to embrace a paperless lifestyle, and this series will celebrate those possibilities in various ways.
I also want to extend a big thank you to all our Patrons and everyone who has supported us on Patreon. Your continued support means the world to me, even though the Patreon content hasn’t always been the most thrilling. But that’s about to change in 2020.
This year, I’ll be doing vlogs on Patreon, sharing behind-the-scenes looks at the work and projects we’re doing at Paperless X. I’ll also be doing some personal vlogs, giving you a chance to get to know the person behind the voice. Don’t worry, though—these Patreon vlogs won’t impact the content on the Paperless X channel; they’re completely optional.
With the rebranding, this channel is now called Paperless X, and my study channel will be renamed to Paperless Student. I’ll keep reminding you about this change for a while to help minimize any confusion during the transition.
